Research Group meeting

The first group meeting for this academic year took place on the 5th of November at 09:00. Meeting as a group leads to more collaboration among the group members, learn to work as a team, and plan social activities . These group meetings will take place twice a month and are informal gatherings to discuss research results, problems and ideas. The members will also present techniques that will be useful to the entire group, and other people's work (paper discussion).

EPSRC-CMAC 2nd Annual Open Day

Dr Lamprou with two PhD students (Fraser and Laura) of the group.

Science and the Public

Communication is important in scientific research, not only by publications and conference talks aimed mainly to the science community, but also for the general public by talks (such as in schools and science cafĂ©) and   by using   online services (such as blogs, Twitter and Facebook). Therefore, this blog (together with our Facebook and Twitter accounts) will be used in order to inform and communicate direct with both the public and science community about research and everyday activities in our lab.
